Abstract

Nausea and vomiting (NV) constitute the most frequent adverse events of antineoplastic therapy. This paper summarizes the actual state-of-art in chemotherapy/radiotherapy induced NV, provides information about antiemetic drugs, gives tools to assess the risk of NV with practical examples of therapy planning according to guidelines.
