Rak trzustki ― żywieniowe i metaboliczne następstwa choroby i jej leczenia

Streszczenie

Rak trzustki jest nowotworem złośliwym o agresywnym przebiegu i ciągle niskim, nie przekraczającym 9% odsetku wyleczeń. W Polsce choruje na niego ponad 3200 osób rocznie, a podstawą leczenia pozostają rozległe resekcje regionalne zmieniające trwale zarówno anatomię, jak i fizjologie przewodu pokarmowego. Zarówno sam nowotwór, jak i jego leczenie wiążą się z zaburzeniami o charakterze matabolicznym oraz żywieniowym; nasilonym niedożywieniem, cukrzycą typu 3c oraz zewnatrzwydzielniczą niewydolnością trzustki. W pracy omówiono ryzyko występowania powikłań  żywieniowych, metody ich diagnozowania oraz zalecenia dietetyczne.
