Praktyczne aspekty stosowania diety niskobiałkowej

Streszczenie
Aktualizacja zaleceń Kidney Disease Outcome Quality Initiative (KDOQI) z 2020 roku przyczyniła się do wzrostu zainteresowania zastosowaniem diety niskobiałkowej u pacjentów z przewlekłą chorobą nerek. W Polsce od marca 2021 roku pacjenci mogą uczestniczyć, po spełnieniu odpowiednich kryteriów, w programie terapeutycznym obejmującym stosowanie diety niskobiałkowej oraz ketonanalogów aminokwasów. Bardzo istotna jest jednak odpowiednia edukacja personelu medycznego oraz pacjentów, aby zalecenia KDOQI były realizowane w praktyce i przyniosły korzyści w postaci spowolnienia postępu przewlekłej choroby nerek.
