Treatment of autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease — current status

Abstract

Autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease (ADPKD) is the most common genetically determined kidney disease, with an incidence of 1:1000 births. 10% of end stage renal disease that require renal replacement therapy is caused by ADPKD. The aim of this paper is to review current status of treatment and management of ADPKD patients.
