Asystowana dializa otrzewnowa

Abstract

W artykule przedstawiono asystowaną dializę otrzewnową jako nową formę dializy domowej u pacjentów, którzy z powodu niezdolności do samodzielnego prowadzenia programu dializy wymagają asysty członka rodziny lub profesjonalnego pracownika służby zdrowia. Zalety i ograniczenia metody przedstawiono na podstawie wyników wiodących ośrodków światowych, uzupełnionych o wyniki pochodzące z Polskiego Rejestru Dializy Otrzewnowej. Wskazano, że potencjalnymi kandydatami do programu asystowanej dializy otrzewnowej są pacjenci w podeszłym wieku, pacjenci z powikłaniami cukrzycy oraz z wskaźnikiem współchorobowości Charlson. Chorzy ci korzystają z zalet dializy otrzewnowej, zwłaszcza łagodnej terapii w warunkach domowych, prostego dostępu do jamy otrzewnowej i braku konieczności uciążliwego transportu. Zwiększenie udziału asystowanej dializy otrzewnowej w leczeniu nerkozastępczym tych populacji chorych jest uzależnione od rozwiązania problemów logistyczno- finansowych programu oraz opracowania optymalnych i profesjonalnych programów szkolenia edukatorów i osób prowadzących program asystowanej dializy otrzewnowej.
