Calciphylaxis — a fatal complication not only in end-stage renal disease patients

Abstract
We present a fatal case of end-stage renal disease complication that is calciphylaxis, also known as calcific uremic arteriolopathy, characterized by vascular calcification, necrosis of the skin and adipose tissue and constant severe pain of the affected areas.
