Abstract

Atrial fi brillation (AF) is the most common heart arrhythmia identifi ed in people with stroke. Is considered to be the main source of a cardiac embolism creating a substantial risk of thromboembolic complications. The work presents two clinical cases of people with newly diagnosed atrial fi brillation in whom was the fi rst manifestation of ischemic stroke.
