The Polish Society of Endocrinology (Polskie Towarzystwo Endokrynologiczne, PTE) is a scientific association of doctors and researchers in the field of endocrinology and others working in endocrinology or in the fields of medicine that benefit from the results of endocrinology. PTE was established on June 12, 1949 in Łódź.

In 1949, the PTE founded the scientific journal "Endokrynologia Polska". The first issue was published in 1950. Editors-in-chief: Artur Ber (1951), Kazimierz Dux (1956), Tadeusz Pawlikowski (1977), Maciej Gembicki (1980), Zbigniew Szybiński (1984), Janusz Nauman (1999), Andrzej Lewiński (2001), Stefan Zgliczyński (2003), Beata Kos-Kudła (2006), Dariusz Kajdaniuk (2021).
