Abstract

Sweating, physiologically, means secretion of water and sodium chloride for the sake of thermoregulation. Sweating may be also a symptom of disease and adverse effect of drugs, like morphine. In terminal disease sweating may lead to dehydration. In present article several mechanisms of sweating and the treatment are discussed.
