Abstract

Malignant pleural mesothelioma of the pleura is a difficult diagnostic problem. Diagnosis is often delayed due to nonspecific clinical symptoms, a variety of radiological images and similarity to other neoplasms particularly adenocarcinoma in microscopical evaluation. The mainstay of diagnosis is histopatological and immunohistochemical analysis of microscopic samples obtained during thoracoscopy or diagnostic thoracotomy in equivocal cases. In this report, presented are three cases of malignant pleural mesothelioma are presented.

Abstract
