Abstract

This article reviews the use of Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) for pain relief. Authors present modern hypotheses explaining the mechanism of action of low and mid power laser irradiation effects in cells and tissues. In addition, article describes clinical trials studying analgesic action of laser biostimulation. The article also contains contrindications in applying such therapy.
