Abstract

Lymphedema is a chronic, incurable condition which can be successfully managed. Currently polish health system does not guarantee early diagnosing, close monitoring and adequate therapy of patients with congestive lymphatic insufficiency. Lymphedema care success depends on two conditions: sufficient financing the outpatient clinics and day care centers as well as improvement within the health care system.
