Abstract

An aim of the present paper is a discussion of the case of a 51-year-old woman with a huge phlebolymphoedema
of the left lower leg. In spite the chronic nature of the swelling and coexisting disease, thanks to
the use of compression therapy in combination with physical activity, spectacular effects in the decrease of
lymphedema size the and improvement of limb function were achieved.
