Streszczenie

Celem artykułu jest próba ukazania różnych aspektów funkcjonowania seksualnego osób chorujących na chorobę afektywną dwubiegunową. Poprzez przegląd literatury i dostępnych obecnie informacji na temat przeszkód i możliwości w życiu seksualnym osób chorujących oraz ich partnerów, daje możliwość zyskania szerszej perspektywy na utrudnienia wynikające z objawów choroby, z leczenia oraz z rozwoju choroby. Kolejne części artykułu poświęcone będą opisowi jak na życie seksualne wpływają: rozwój choroby, etap choroby, rodzaj relacji intymnej oraz leczenie farmakologiczne. W ostatniej części artykułu opisane zostaną również zagrożenia związane z zachowaniami seksualnymi mogącymi występować w okresach manii lub hipomanii.

W ostatniej części artykułu opisane zostaną również zagrożenia związane z zachowaniami seksualnymi mogącymi występować w okresach manii lub hipomanii.
