Abstract
Syndrome of Lisistrate was described, which consist women forcing on their partners realization definable demands, trough prevailed sexual abstinence.
Designation of the syndrome comes from the name of Lisistrate, title heroine of Aristophanes comedy set in 411 BC.
The condition and the historical background of comedy were presented. Authors tried to show, that over 2500 years the woman’s methods and ways of dealing with men were not different (“Nihil novi sub sole”).
