Abstract

Epilepsy belongs to the group of diseases, which etiology is not uniform and pathogenesis is multiparametral. Epilepsy attacks are expression of pathological activity of different brain areas during progress of many illness processes. The size of brain area taken into bioelectrical processes of epilepsy attack determines its type and clinical form. Most of epilepsy’s are diseases, which primeval comes form brain. Fundamental definition of epilepsy is disease state characterizing by the recurrently disturbances of brain activities which occurs as attacks, usually with accompany of disturbances of consciousness and also with other disturances of feeling, motion or vegetation. It is caused by the pathological process of brain initiation with incorrect bioelectrical brain activity, registered by shallow and deep drain off as an EEK. Epilepsy is conditioned by structural or functional (metabolical) brain changes. The sexual dysfunctions in epilepsy which occurs the most often are sexual experiences which appears regardless of situation and partner (most often in damages of temporal lobe and vertex lobe). They occurs as a feeling of irritation in sexual organs giving sense of sexual satisfaction, even orgasm, come into existence in circumstances not connected with experiences in sexual sphere. They are short-lived and can recurses quite often. These experiences are treated as focus attacks of epilepsy with plain partial attacks.
Such symptom may by preliminary experience before following after them maximal generalized attack or appears without any other after-effects. Moreover, as a rule in epilepsy occurs all types of sexual dysfunctions starting from erectile, ejaculation and orgasm dysfunctions, increased or decreased sexual excitability and parafiles (deviations).
