Abstract


Introduction. Sexual dysfunctions are problems of health peaple and especially erections disorders plays a very important role in men life.
Material and metods. In present study was examined appearance erectile dysfunction in 197 men (mean age 60.2 yrs) and association erectile dysfunction between age and symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia. Erectile dysfunction was assessed using the International Index of Erectile Function. Patients underwent routine laboratory test and estimate lower urinary tract symptoms assessed the using International Prostate Symptom Score.
Results. Of the study 111(56.4%) men had erectile dysfunction. There were significant associations between increased levels of lower urinary tract symptoms and increased severity of erectile dysfunction (p < 0.0001).
Conclusions. This study demonstrated of erectile dysfunction increases as men age and degree levels of lower urinary tract symptoms associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia.
