Abstract

The article describes woman’s inner transformation after giving a birth. An outline idea is becoming a mother hold complex
mental and emotional process. Together with this goes multiple affects whose extreme form is group of symptoms
known as postpartum depression. Feminine rebirth from a woman without a child to a mother whenever developmental
or severe is always a significant change. This work presents mother’s emotional reactions and its interpretations based
on psychoanalytic understanding. It’s crucial to recognize the process of becoming a mother in order to protect her
mental health as well as to secure baby’s mental development.
