Publication Frequency

Nowotwory. Journal of Oncology is bimonthly journal. New issue is published no later than the last day of every second month.

Preventing Plagiarism

To exclude, even unintentional, plagiarism Nowotwory. Journal of Oncology has introduced Ithenticate software, widely known in the academic community. All papers accepted for publication are now automatically screened within the manuscript system. Additionally, Editors may decide to run a similarity report at any other point during the review process or post-publication. Our Editorial team is aware of recognized limitation of this tool and realize that a high similarity score does not necessarily indicate plagiarized text. Thus, every doubtful report will be delt with individually to determine whether there are any grounds for concern.

Journal History

Journal is published since 1923, first as a Bulletin of Polish Committee for Fighting Cancer, then in 1928 it changed its title to NOWOTWORY, only to become NOWOTWORY Journal of Oncology in 2003.
