Stroke in 19 year-old man with drug and alcohol abuse

Abstract
We report a case of a 19 year-old man with stroke, who was taking cocaine, marihuana and alcohol for a few days before
hospitalisation. Diagnostic tests showed protein C insufficiency and patent foramen ovale (PFO). As a result of the therapy
neurological symptoms have regressed.
