Abstract
The authors present the results of minimally invasive transvascular reduction of severe mitral insufficiency in the first three
patients with extensive postinfarction cardiac injury treated in Poland. The positive early in-hospital outcomes in the first
three patients encourage further implementation of this treatment method in patients with postinfarction cardiomyopathy
and high perioperative risk.
