Abstract
Due to the rapid increase in the number of patients with implanted pacemakers (PM) or cardioverter-defibrillators (ICD), the
incidence of complications of this method of treatment also increases. In many cases the only solution is transvenous extraction
of previously implanted PM/ICD system. The publication is an attempt to assess the real cost of performing such procedures.
