Abstract
Early repolarisation syndrome (ERS) appears in 2–7% of general population, mainly seen in young men, athletes and blacks.
Recent publications change the benign character of ERS. It was suggested that ERS can be associated with sudden cardiac
death, idiopathic ventricular fibrillation. This article described history and evolution of ERS.
