Hematologia 2011;2(3):290-293.
Abstract
Chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) is the most common type of leukemia occurring in
western countries. Performed population study showed increased risk of second malignancy in
this group of patients. The role of immunodeficiency, genetic predisposition and received anti-
-cancer treatment in the development of second neoplasms may be important. This paper
presents two cases of CLL patients with coexisting colorectal adenocarcinoma.
