The history of Voivodship Dermatological and Venereological Outpatient Clinic in Rzeszów
Abstract
Here, we present the history of the Provincial Cutaneous-Venereological Outpatient Clinic in Rzeszów, which was established in 1963. Originally, the Provincial Cutaneous-Venereological Outpatient Clinic was tasked with combating and epidemiological control of sexually transmitted diseases and was a diagnostic and consultation centre for skin diseases for other dermatological outpatient clinics in the Rzeszowskie voivodship. The first head of the Provincial Cutaneous-Venereological Outpatient Clinic was Dr Krystyna Kuźniar, who managed it in the years 1963-1982. During its existence, the Provincial Cutaneous-Venereological Outpatient Clinic was constantly expanded and transformed, its role also changed in particular periods. Regardless of the changes taking place, since its inception, it has enjoyed and enjoys a consistently good reputation and recognition among patients.
