Abstract

An algorithm is an ordered sequence of events guiding us to the diagnosis or treatment of a given illness. Algorithms allow for unification of diagnostic and therapeutic processes and their simplified and clear arrangement facilitates quick decision making. There is a tendency now to present issues in the form of algorithms. This paper discusses the difficulties encountered while constructing an algorithm for patients with diabetic foot, and it presents the available algorithms with comments.
